24-Hour Helpline: 1-800-239-7298

Free. Confidential. Survivor-led. Available anytime.

Anyone impacted by domestic abuse and violence, or who thinks they may be experiencing abuse, can speak with an advocate and access Caring Unlimited’s services anytime by calling the 24-Hour Helpline.

The Helpline connects callers to free, fully confidential support and individualized safety planning services. Our services are survivor-led, and based on the individual needs, wants, timeline and priorities of each caller.

In addition to direct support and safety planning for survivors experiencing abuse, Helpline services are available to assist friends, family members, and concerned others seeking more information about domestic abuse and violence and how to help a friend or loved one.

What happens when I call the helpline?

When you call our 24-hour line, you will first be connected to an answering service to take your name and phone number so that an advocate may return your call within 15 minutes, or can immediately patch you through to an advocate if it is unsafe to receive a call back. Advocates are here to listen and support you in your individual needs and wants, and offer what resources and options we can to help increase your safety on your own terms.
