Portland Press Herald Reminds Men to Speak Up About Domestic Violence
This article from Sunday April 4th in the Portland Press Herald includes some thoughts from Caring Unlimited's board chair Ryan Liberty about getting involved, and the ways men in particular can be part of the movement to end domestic violence.
“As he sat there and listened to women talking mostly about other women who had been victimized, Liberty found himself wondering, “Like I can add something to that?”
“That’s what I felt,” he said. “So I’m sure that’s kind of what a lot of men feel.”
"Liberty... is proof positive that we can all do more to end the carnage. That it’s high time guys all over Maine stop looking down at their feet and step up.”
